We hauled my son's pontoon boat last w/end and it had some of the nastiess, smellist, greenist goo-crap on it I have ever seen! The pontoons are stainless-steel but this stuff has a real bit on it. Anyone know how to get this s--t off short of a flaming hacksaw?

Thx in advance,

hooty

Re: Algae

my boat is fiberglass & i use a product called slimy grimy, no kidding. it's a powder that u wix with water, rub it on with a sponge than hose it off. it's boidegradable & won't burn like muriatic acid does. works well for me. available at your marine store.
