The Kings are in at the Deshka, most of the action is still at the mouth of the river but fish are moving upstream, the little sioux river is showing a decent number of fish as well, Still a bit early for many fish to be accessable from the parks highway, but Willow creek is showing a few kings.<br /><br />This was my first real outing this season aside from ops checking the skiff. everything went well, but there is some road construction between Big Lake and the Deshka landing turnoff.<br /><br />Managed to get 3 kings in the boat, 2 of which were foul hooked and had to be let loose, I did manage to get a little one to bring home though. I saw several 40# fish taken and more in the 30# range but all I managed was a 20lb male. Oh well, going back on Monday, I seldom fish the weekend due to over crowding on the best spots on the river. <br /><br />Happy Fishing!<br /><br />
