My '88 Sea Ray Seville has an alarm system for oil injection and temperature. The temperature alarm will go off at random and continue until I turn the motor off and restart it. It seems to do it if I get in rough water or if the temperature guage reads 170 - 175 degrees F. I don't think it has anything to do with temperature because it stops immediately if I turn the motor off and restart. There is water flowing out of the spout indicating the water pump is working.
My volt meter is showing 12 volts on my battery.
Anyone have any thoughts?
