NEED SOME HELP. HAVE ALARM SOUNDING. APPEARS TO BE REALTED TO HEAT SENSOR. I HAVE RELACED THE ALARM ITSELF, THE OIL SENDER FROM THE REOMTE TANK, THE OIL MOTION SENSOR, THE ENTIRE MODULE. THE ONLY TIME THE ALARM STOPS IS IF I DICONNECT THE TAN WIRE WITH THE BLUE STRIPE FROM THE MODULE TO THE POST IN THE ENFINE. CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF I HAVE PUT IT ON WRONG TERMINAL. IT IS GOING TO POST WHERE TAN/BLUE WIRE FROM HEAT SENSOR AND WIRE TO ALRM GO. AM I PUTTING IT IN RIGHT PLACE. I CANNOT READ WIRING DIAGRAM ACCURATELY. MY FRIEND TELLS ME I MAY HAVE A SHORT. ANY HELP APPRECIATED THANK YOU

Re: ALARM

sorry for the caps sometimes i cant read the text. the alarm does not appear to be oil as all these have been checked. it stems from the tan/blues stripe wire. that cause it to go off. i have repalced heat sensor. thermostats are opening. has been couple of yrs on water pump service but it appears to be peeing water ok.my shop which right now is bit away from me says could be some kind of short .really looking for wiring diagram for the opil module as the tan and blue wire comes from there and if i diconnect it the alarm goes off but also the oil alarm fail to work. curious any help appreciated thank you

Re: ALARM

Need more info here...what year/horsepower/serial number is your engine? Tan/blue wires appear in different locations in different engines. If the alarm is constant ("beeeeep"), then the overheat sensor is triggering. If the alarm is intermitant ("beep-beep-beep") then the low oil sensor is triggering. Which alarm code are you getting?
