Just purchased a used boat with a 95 3.0 LX. The previous owner removed the alarm under the dash. I found the wire and traced it back to the lube container. I can't seem to find the oil pressure and temp switch. Would they be next to their respective sensors for the gauges?

thanks

The oil pressure switch should be on a tee from the oil pressure sender (for the gauge). The temperature switch will be in its own port in the thermostat housing... It may have been an option on that engine and not put on. You can buy the parts, just use that serial number and go to mercruiserparts.com...

Thanks for the reply. There is no T and the temp sensor has a plug in the 2nd port that looks like it has been there since day 1. Is it possible that it only had an alarm for the gear lube? That seems like the most useless of the 3 as the gear lube would take hours to empty the container.

Then you don't have them. If you don't have them and want 'em, then get 'em. It's just that simple
