I have a 18 foot luxury marine, Twister 1987. When I start the boat an alarm goes off on the throtle unit. It is a constant beeping and does not stop. Anyone know what the alarm means? I have no manual for this boat.

Probably low oil alarm. Check the oil tank under the cowling to make sure there is oil in it. Wiothout more info it is hard to just guess at your problem. Normal is about 3 beeps and it stops.

Thanks Gary. The the oil tank under cowling is empty but the big tank under the seat is full. I will check for a Kinked hose or something.

Like I said, don't know what engine you have but most units are pressure fed. Premix until you get it fixed. If you unscrew the cap/sensor on the onboard tank w/engine running you should get oil flow to the tank, let it fill up, that feeds the oil pump on the engine. If the engine tank is empty, you are running w/o oil unless you have already premixed.
