After removing the auto blend, I have an alarm sounding from my quicksilver throttle control. Is this a low oil alarm? an overheating alarm?
I removed all the wires from the autoblend that were attached to the motor, there was one purple wire left over on the motor which I left unplugged and taped up.

I had Autoblend on a 1988 tower and as I recall pulling the plug to the unit will shut it off. If you have an 8 pin connector from your 2000 or 3000 Quicksilver control, Pin 3 (tan or tan/blue stripe ) is the pin which grounds the alarm. With the gap at the bottom, looking into the remote harness connector, count CCW from pin 1 at the 5 o'clock position 3 pins....puts you at 3 o'clock.

So find the pin in the quiksilver control and then what? Sorry, so new to all this. I appreciate the response.

Its definitely a false alarm because the motor ran without incident up until the day i removed the auto blend. which im starting to regret doing that now!!!
its a constant alarm, not a intermittent beeping...

Are you saying I should pull that pin?
