i have a 1987 johnson gt 150. sometimes on a cool morning after it is started and warmed up as you shift it into gearand are just starting to get up on plane, an alarm will go off. so i cut the engine off and restart it and sometimes the alarm will sound again and sometimes not.the alarm sounds like a cell phone ringing. it doesnt do this all the time. i had one person say it sounded like the oil alarm. does anyone know what it could be?

Re: alarm help

suggest you clean your oil tank and lines, then reprime it. it could be the oil side is having problems picking up oil.
