Please could someone tell me what the various alarm codes/sounds i get from my 150hp johnson outboards model hj 150 nxeom , ocean runner.Many thanks,Tim.

1986 models had a constant horn for overheating.

1/2 second beep every second for no oil or oil obstruction.

1/2 second beep every 20 seconds for low oil when the oil drops below 1/4 full.

The VRO2 was introduced in 1988 and many older motors were upgraded.

constant alarm is either overheating and or fuel starvation
