airhead rip II tube-

anyone have any experience with this towable?? it looks like it would be alot of fun. It has an open back and fins on the underside to make it steerable. just wondering if anyone had used. i have had the big bertha tube, a couple other tubes, one of the flat saucer type tubes, but looking for something different. thanks in advance

I have no personal experience with these, but can tell you what I've read on other forums. Those fins are too small to make it steerable. i posted the same post on trailerboats also but it seems like there are quicker responses on here!!! thanks for the links. they had them online somewhere for 76.00 which i thought was a pretty good deal. hmmmm..... what to do.

$76 wow. I couldn't find them for under $110. We ended up going with a more traditional tube since it was our first one. If you've found it for that price, please let me know where so I can check prices on some other toys I want. Thanks.

walmart! 76.22- figure its worth a shot, even if not steerable all that much. atleast its an open back tube easier for some to board. it was on walmart.com too.
