I'd like to pick up an Airguide tach to somewhat match the Airguide speedometer and clock that are original on my 50 yr. old boat. The problem I'm having is trying to determine which tach's will work w/1977 Evinrude 35hp. Does anyone have a copy of an old Airguide application guide they'd be willing to share, that may cover some of the older tach's that I see for sale?

Re: Airguide Tach.

Most of the old airguide tachs had a sender unit to convert from magneto to dist ign. systems

Re: Airguide Tach.

A Great source of Instructions that were actually sold with new Airguide tachs can be found at this website in dowloadable pdf format for viewing in adobe reader. You will be able to see multiple wiring diagrams for single/dual motor set up, how to jump the transmitter for 2 cylinder VS. 4 cylinder and also 6 cylinder applications. Many models are listed, just find your model and click the link that applies to your tach.
