air/gas line, will tank fit motor??

I am trying to sell a tank on ebay and a guy asked me if his 1953 Johnson 10hp model #QD-14, will fit my old johnson tank. The tank uses the usual johnson connections, same kind as on my '62 10hp evinrude. He says his has air/gas connections. Thanks.
