Air entering lines

Once started the motor will run all day. When stopped, it can be a pain if possible to start again.
It will sometimes try to start for 5 seconds then die like it's not getting any fuel.

I noticed the priming bulb would not hold so I changed out the last 6' of fuel line. Disconnected, the bulb stays hard overnight, so I'm thinking the line is ok now. Connected to the engine it does soften a little, but doesn't feel like it has air in it anymore.

With the cowl off I noticed air in the oil inject line after the pump (arrow in the pic). Pumped the bulb and bubbles are coming up from below the arrow. keep pumping and air can be forced out through the oil reservoir. Once started again, I'm getting white-blueish-white smoke.

I have much better luck starting the engine without the choke. When I choke the line I can't even hear any combustion and the entire oil line fills with air.
