Air Compressor hose in outdrive?

I have what appears to be an inlet for an air compressor hose mounted onto a piece of metal thats wrapped around the top of my outdrive, can anyone explain what this is? There appear to be two small hoses that run through the transom into the engine bay, but beyond that I'm clueless. I've never noticed it before until yesterday when a friend pointed it out asking what it is.

People do some funny things to boats, can you get a pic up, that would maybe help.

I am at a loss as to what it could be, alot of drives have a pitot tube but it is much smaller than that and built into the drive.

I'm guessing it may have been put there to for winterizing to blow out the water?

Its sounds like its half of an easy steer system for a formerly installed kicker motor. I put one on my boat, and it uses air compressor quick couples on both the outdrive and kicker.

If it is a GO-FAST boat with through the transom exhaust, it may be an air line to partially vent the prop for faster hole shots. A photo would help.

Sounds like an EZ Steer connection. I use the same system for steering my kicker motor.
