Does AGM deep cycle work good as a cranking battery? I have one for trolling and pretty happy with it, now I need to replace my starting battery (older walmart Everstart) and have to choose between wet-type or AGM. If AGM, what size should I look for? The motor is 90HP Force, is 80Ah enough?
Also, if I am to install ACR, will it work with mixed setup or both battery should be the same type? Not even sure if ACR will work in my situation, didn't find the alternator output specs but the fuse in that circuit is 20A, so I assume the output is 7-10A tops. Probably I am never going to get any juice to trolling battery anyway.
