Age of Motor

I have a Honda BF75S-1705059 outboard. Could someone please assist me in how to identify what year it was manufactured? Possibly what site to go to see this information.

I'm finding that the "S" indicates 2007 and after. I would contact a dealer and they should be able to look it up

I believe we need a similar series of letters/numbers found on the engine block.

No experience on the later motors, but the ones I've worked on have a number on the frame, and another number that does no match that one, located on the block somewhere, which is often difficult to see/find when full assembled. If the chassis number isn't on either side of the transom bracket, look up on top of the transom bracket.
