My trim pump has been getting slower and slower going up each year. It is also getting louder and louder. Figured its time for a new one... but dang... they are expensive! Found a few assys on ebay for like $200. Just wondered if anyone has tried the cheap-o pump assys and what the outcome was. Let me know, thanks.

I have purchased a cheapo trim motor from one of those ebay stores... It has been a dang good buy so far.. Heck it had a warranty and saved me some cash... If I was running a merc.. I would try one before dumping a grand on OEM..

Yeah i know... those quicksilvers are $899 for the entire assy. But I just need the pump, motor, and reservoir. I went ahead and bought one last night... it will be here wednesday. I will let you all know how it goes. It was $200 shipped. Should do the job for me :)

Try lubing the tilt rams.Spray and tilt up and spray some more. The seals dry out and make the T@T work harder.
Not saying that's the problem,but I found it helps.J
