Re: After winter storage

well, i don't know anything about yer ski(assume its a kawasaki 1100 direct fuel injected). but first i'd say see if the owners manual says 10% ethonol is ok as a fuel for yer ski. if not then i'd find out the ramificatins of useing ethonol in yer type of engine. next question would be did ya add stabill or any fuel stabilizer for the winter lay up & have a full tank of fuel(or have the fuel tank empty for the winter. i had me a kwasaki 750 that spec was to drain fuel for winter entirily which is acceptable per the manufature. but i think full with stabill is better, (personaly)? if ya got water in yer fuel, it settles to the bottom to feed yer fuel system first. yer fuel system don't burn water......fuel may not be the problem for yer hard start, but with the info provided i guess it's as good of place to start as any....i'd think there are many possibilies as to why the failur. more info i guess...keep in mind ya gotta have fuel, fire and air to have an engine run. compression too. ya got any?
