I was wondering where a good place to get a universal swim platform?
If you had one installed please let me know pics would be nice too?:)

My boats 18.5 long so if you have pics of them on a smaller boat i would love to see them thanks.

I was going to buy one from this place but changed my mind, they are made for a specific boat:

I also think you can get them here on iboats as well, but I could not find them....

I just looked i swear I'm the only person to own a rinker 182 captiva. I seriously have never been able to find one part for my boat nor a another boat that looks the same. I'm probably S.O.L.

Why did this thread die? I want people to post pics I'm interested in doing this mod in the fall.

It died because it's a boat building question, and it was posted in a wakeboarding forum.

If you post the same question over in the Boat Building/Restoration forum, or just do some searches over there, and you will find all kinds of people who have built their own, added their own, modified one from a different boat, etc...with pics.

Here's another builder of custom aftermarket platforms:

And these guys I think are kinda new to the game, but I believe they're cheaper and lighter in weight than the swimplatforms.com company above. They are currently selling some on Ebay for $995 and free shipping. The swimplatforms.com end price are usually in the $1500+ range

Re: After market swim platform??...

I have been looking for a swim platform for our 18' glastron. Swimplatforms.com quoted me $1300.

Polyswimplatform is $1000 and that includes cup holders and color matched edge. They do seem nice. Just not sure i'm all that thrilled about the 4 support braces. That is drilling a lot of holes in the boat. Also not sure how I will be able to strap the back down with the supports in the way. Anyone have one of these?
