Hi John,
I'm not going to get into what brands might be the best because we all have different views and likes and dislikes. What I will do is give you a link to a great website that will keep you busy for a long time reading how people feel about there brand of offshore performance boats. Check out "The Board" or "Forums" to see what others are saying. I read your other post about a posible car swap and not really knowing how big or fast of a performance boat you want, I just want to say that don't expect much for 24k because speed costs lots of $$$$$$$$$
http://www.offshoreonly.com/

Cordell

depending on how high performanc you want, it just seems to me that the words "High Performance" and "reliability" just done go together to well, but if you are willing to put out the bucks, I bet they can. Just curious, how fast do you wanna go?

John,

I'm a still a novice with internal combustion powered boats but I suspect "high performance" boats are not unlike "high performance" cars.

While I didn't get into big block cars, I did own a string of very quick Triumphs from the TR-3 thru the TR-6. The only dependable one I ever had was the TR-6 bought new. The guy who bought it from me, however, may not have gotten quite as dependable a car - I drove all of them to the limit every chance I had - boaters have much more opportunity than drivers.

Kev_79 said it, "High Performance" and "reliability" just don't go together too well"

Semper Gumby
tcube
