ADVICE NEEDED FOR BUYING MY FIRST JETSKI

I?d like to buy one jet ski 2-3 places who came with trailer, and my budget is around 3-3.5k$. It will be used mainly on lake waters, and by one/two persons. I?m thinking at Yamaha or Sea Doo, not charged.
My priorities: it has to be cheap to run and a reliable. The engine should be redone at 150-200-300 hours? Costs? ...

Please advise me, and share your opinions.

Cheap and reliable do not go hand in hand. see your other post on the similar question on buying a boat.

so are you looking for a boat, or a jet ski....... or are you trolling for information for a paper you need to write?

I'd like to buy a jetski, but I've heard that pwc cost much more in maintenance than boats, take more gas, and the pwc engine need to be redone evey 150h!!!

Who told you a PWC engines need a rebuild at 150 hours?

Depending on the motor, you can put a few thousand hours on them with no rebuild.

You won't like this, but if you want low maintenance and good fuel economy get a four stroke. You will be a little over your budget but not by much.
