I am a first time sailboat owner and have a ‘82 Catalina 25 with a fixed keel. I will be moving the boat from an upstate NY Lake to one in the Adirondacks permanently. I am considering going by water, but also considering a trailer option. What advice can you provide on a trailer and type of truck/SUV to pull this boat? Also, does anyone have input as to the best marina for docking and storage near Lake Clear, Lake Placid and Saranac Lake area? Thank you all for your help.
