I have two Mercs. 115 and a 50 4 Stroke. Want to make sure I'm supposed to mix gas/oil with one and not the other? Also want to make sure my years are right.

1995? 4 Stroke 50hp Serial 0G270011... Straight Gas?

1985? 115hp Serial 0A180166... 50:1 Mix?

Thank you. Another question. The 1985 115hp has a inboard tank not a external "red" tank. I do add the oil right to the tank after filling up? So if I add 5 gallons I just dump 12.8 oz of oil right into the tank with it? (if the calculations are right)

Not sure if it has the auto blend? If I put the gas right into the Tank, Should the autoblend be disconnected if one is on there? That's why I'm kind of confused on that.

Jesse75, if you have your oil injection system disabled, then yes you mx the fuel 50:1 in the fuel tank external to the engine. However, if you are still using the oil injection system then you put the oil in that tank on the engine and regular non-mixed gas in the external tank. But make absolutely sure you know what you are doing if you decide to go with the internal oil system if it has been disabled. Maybe if you are not familiar about how your engine is setup, ask somebody that knows around your neighborhood to look at it first... Even a better option is to use 50:1 in the external fuel tank until you verify how your engine is setup now. If both systems are being used, it will smoke a lot, but not ruin your engine. JMHO!

If there is an " autoblend " unit, just take it out of the boat and throw it away as far as you can !
