BOB a pint too much for how many gallons?
- I suggest you "fogging" the engine. It's
the best prior to carb and then idle adjustments. A half a can of the cleaner down
the 2 carbs is enough.

------------------

BOB, the oil doesn't seem too much. Burn off
almost as many gallons as a pint takes then fill it up. {Here I'm thinking liters}
Mercury Quicksilver has a good fogger.
I've used auto carb cleaner spray but be upwind and hold your breath when doing it.
Then undo IDLE SPEED so its running only on the carbs at around 800 rpm. IDLE MIXTURE should be 1 + 1/4 turns + or- 1/4 turn.
{My carbs are strange--- 1/2 turn each}
Then IDLE SPEED should be raised to prevent stalling at gear engagement.

------------------
