can anyone tell me how to adjust a johnson command center or where I can find pics or a diagram of how it should be put together. I have just about lost my mind trying to figure out how this thing should work, when I get it to shift through forward, neutral and reverse then it will not move the throttle. It appears someone had it apart sometime in the past and did not put it together right and the seloc book is about as clear as mud on how to adjust it...HELP!

Go to shop .evinrude.com and look up your mtr. They have some good parts diagrams in there. And yes, seloc and clymer Suck!

Seloc and clymer can also replace the Sears catalog in the old "out house".
