We have a mastercraft NXT and I am wondering if anyone has added a sea deck transom walkthrough to that boat or another wake boat? If so can you please send instructions.

sell boat you have, buy boat you want.

I love the mastercraft NXT for the most part and adding a walkthrough isn't that big of a del it was only a couple hundred dollar job by a local shop, just wondering if anyone knew how to do it and I could save some cash

please explain this shop that would only charge "couple hundred dollars"

i have a whole bunch of fiberglass work to send their way then.

Just the upholstry work alone will be over a grand, the fiberglass work will probably be in the 2-3 grand range.

I assume you are just wanting to remove a 14”-18” path through the rear sun pad and put down a non slip finish like Seadeck, then redo the edges of the upholstery. If that’s the case, an upholstery shop is your best bet. Removing the pad is not a big deal. It should be held on with nuts on the backside.
Of course, you could do what most do and just walk over the padding. Then, if in five years you’ve damaged it, do the work at that time and just have the same shop charge about the same price. You’ll also know if you want the walk on the side or center. You might prefer keeping the pad.
If you want to change any fibreglass to make a real walk through, just follow Scott’s advice.

So I'm guessing the answer is no to any experience fabricating a walk through?
