Adding Suzuki Engine Interface to Simrad

I recently purchased a 2020 Crest Caribbean pontoon and I'm adding the Suzuki engine data to the Simrad. I have all the correct hardware and I hooked everything together first to ensure functionality prior to running the wires from the transom to the helm. What I thought was going to be the hard part (getting through the rigging tube), turned out to be easy. What I thought would be easy (transom to the helm) is proving to be very difficult and so far impossible. Any suggestions?? This boat is skinned so access underneath is very limited.
