I just bought a used 2006 15 hp four stroke nissan outboard to use as a kicker/trolling motor for my boat(2004 bayliner 195classic w/135hp mercruiser). I have it mounted and have been running it off a 3 gallon tank strapped to the swim ladder. I have been reading some posts on here about adding a fuel/water separator with a dual out fitting to run both engines off of the main tank. Would this for sure work for my set up? I think sierra was the brand people were getting for their set ups. ANY pics of the installs in your rigs would be a great help too. Thanks much for your help!!!

Most fuel/water seps have 2 inlets and 2 outlets so it should work .just remember to install a shut-off at the filter for the aux fuel line.

I'm not sure if I totally understand this. Do you mean I need to have a shut off valve to the kicker motor. Or just a plug in the second inlet on the filter? And why? Thanks!!
