I just rebuilt, painted my power trim/ tilt unit on my 83 Johnson 90hp. Do I want to fill the cylinders first before I cap them, and then add to the reservoir. Or do I add straight to the reservoir and bleed the system?
Fill the reservoir.-----Run the system up and down a few times.-----Top up the reservoir, and run up and down a few times.-----Check reservoir until oil level is correct and all air is out.
