Adding charging system to 1995 Suzuki 8 hp pull start

What is needed to have a battery charging circuit on a small pull start motor? Mine is 8hp, 2 magnets, 2 coils and a CDI unit, at least that is all that i can see. I would like to charge my battery while motor is running for lights used in night fishing. What is the simplest way to do this? Thank you for your responses.
