Ok. I needed to add another cross member before putting the engine back in the boat after the dyno session. When I got this boat it had a home made trailer that only had two cross memebers that held bunks. The bunks were like bananas. I knew I had to fix it so now it was time.
I found the angle of the existing cross members and cut out a cardboard pattern. Got some 4" C-channel and went to work with the plasma cutter, digital angle finder and MIG welder. It is now fully welded to the trailer now and painted before the rain fell. Next up, make brackets for the bunks and get another 12" roller for the center. Then attack the spring bushings (there are none) as well as make a floater bar to keep the boat from sliding up on the trailer.
