My boat trailer seems to be set up for rollers. I believe the boat, 91 Calibogie CC, has a strong keel. The trailer is made for the boat and the bunks on there right now are adjusted at the highest setting and the hull is definately sitting on the rollers. The rollers are also on their lowest setting. I think the bunks are there just for balancing.
I am adding another pair of bunks right by the rollers where the V is to help center it better. It will basically huge the sides of the V. I'm installing them without lifting the boat off the trailer so there should be very minimal pressure on hull. Would this be ok for the boat?
Here are some photo's of how it sits on the trailer.
and yes, I know the winch post is not correct and that the bow eye should be under the bow stop... Found out that all the Calibogies came with it setup this way... Will be looking to get a new winch post next.
