I have heard of others doing so.

Pros:
More stable
Higher load capacity
Faster

Cons:
Cost
Special trailer if trailering any distance

Re: Adding a 3rd log.

Your biggest problems with that are cost and finding one that will fit, bracket spacings are different between boats.

A 24' tube is gonna run $1500-$2000 new so that is your biggest draw back btu it cna be done if you don't mind the cost and the work to get it on.

Re: Adding a 3rd log.

I?ve been searching the web for new and used logs/toons. The price varies greatly, but you?re right about finding the right one. It?s been a bit of a challenge. Diameter and spacing is the issue. I don?t need a 24 I talked to the owner of Fiesta boats and he gave me some good info. The center log has to be at least 6 ft in front of the centerline of the motor, if it?s any closer than that, it will but the prop in dirty water and it will cavitate.

I?m still looking.
