Add a trim gauge to 1996 Starcraft 2210ss

I recently bought a 1996 Starcraft 2210ss. The add on depth finder doesn't work, no biggie b/c I am going to get a new garmin. There is no trim gauge currently and I am wondering if I can add one. If so, how difficult would it be to do so? Also there is no hours meter and would like to add one as well. It has a 5.7l mercruiser with alpha one stern drive. Any thoughts on how to proceed?

See if you have the trim pucks on the outdrive and corresponding wiring inside. An hour meter just hooks up to switched power and runs when the key is in the on position.
