Adaptor for controls when upgrading?

I am upgrading engines going from a 1990 Evinrude 100 to a 1998 Johnson 115 SPL and would like to continue to use my existing controls and ignition. The older motor used the big red plug at the motor but the new motor is set up differently. Is there an adaptor that I can use?

Yup<br />BRP/OMC sell a pre 96 to post 96 harness adapter available thru any dealer or online.<br />Good luck
