Ad41-p only revs to 2500rpm

Fuel supply system thoroughly checked and without fault.
props correct and serviceable.
Turbo rotating freely.
Engine will rev to 3000 for about 5 mins then slowly creep back to 2500.
if stopped for a few minutes,it will repeat this performance.
I fitted an electrc higher pressure delivery pump,plumbing in to the fuel filter on the engine,bypassing the lift pump.
RPM restored to 3500…..
Not sure what to do now,or what problem actually exists?

Sounds like you have an issue or restrictions around the primary water separating filter, if you mean you bypassed that and straight to the secondary engine filters with the pump ? Or worst case, your fuel pump is gone.
