I was launching my boat in a private lake that had no ramp. The bank was pretty steep and while backing in the winch rope on the bow broke and my boat hit the water at a even steeper angle. This caused the prop exhaust to become plugged with gumbo mud. Before cranking I removed the prop and cleaned it and the exhaust housing thoughroly. ALso checked the water intakes on the lower unit. the engine fired and ran fine, tell-tale squirted fine. Don't know if its me just worrying and hearing rattles that have always been there or not. My question is, other than possibly a bent prop is there anything else that may have been hurt? Prop spins in neutral just fine and nothing scrapes and theres no noise in the L/U.
