By now you should all know I am heading to a lake I have never been to. I knew it was deeper and did not have as much shallow water as the one I am used to being on what I did not think about is the diffrence that 75' full pool and 360' full pool is. Now i know the whole lake is not 360' just like the other is not 75' but I am set up for anchoring in 75' + a little of water not 360'. I can't even reach bottom with my anchor in 360'. I figured it out and even if I add my back anchor rope to my front I still don't have quite enough rope to anchor properly in 360'. I only have total 450' of rope. I am not buying more rope for next weekend (about 1 day on the water total perhaps 1 1/2 if i get lucky). At least I have a drift sock for drift fishing I can tie it to the bow and hopefully ride anything out and knowing my luck something will come up.
