about to change bellows on volvo

i have a 73 glastron with a volvo penta ford 302 V8. AQ190A. in my manual it says before removing the upper gear box, i should disconnect the trim sender cable inside the boat. where is this cable? anybody have a pic?

What manual do you have? As far as I know, the AQ190's only came with a 280 outdrive. They didn't have trim or trim gauges

i have the selco. it says " on older volvo units, say prior to 1982, the trim sender cable inside the boat MUST be disconnected before proceeding with th efollowing work. Failure to make the disconnect will damage the expensive sender unit."

it says the procedures are for model 250, 270, 280, and 290. and the 280T has different hinge pins.

ps. my outdrive says 270 on it

so its only if i had a gauge that id have that sender wire. the engine was rebuilt, maybe the guy put a 270 outdrive on? but it does have power trim which is why i was asking.
