About to chainge a pair of trim senders on 94 non-SX Cobras: wire plug?

Hi all.

After looking at erratic trim guages and confirming
the very rough movements of the senders, I ordered
a pair of Sierra's and will now proceed to change them.

However, even having the service manual, I am not sure how
to pop the old wires from the original plug and what
to do with the hook type things that came with the senders.

Does anyone have a how to on popping those wire out of
the plug without damaging anything?
