looking for information on 87 Suzuki 140hp. Are the good or bad,what # should the compression, are they oil injected? and anything else that will help me decide if I should purchase this. HICH202407@msn.com

Hichie,<br /><br />I had a "95" DT-140. My impressions:<br /><br />1. Thirsty.<br />2. Simple.<br />3. Reliable.<br />4. Power??-prop was too small for a 140 hp. engine. The gearcase only allows for a 13" max. dia. prop. Im my opinion-too small for a 140.<br />5. Rugged-overbuilt.<br />6. Neat. Everything in its place.<br /><br />I believe the "97" was EFI? <br /><br />I would expect all of the above.
