Bought my boat last year. The boat and motor are both from 1974, so i am assuming that the trailer is also a 1974 model as well. There is no nameplate on the trailer. Dont know who made it or when it was made. It has no spare and i would like to have a spare tire for it. I need another rim to fit the hub on the trailer. I checked the local garages in my area and found out that my rim is not a car or truck rim. Do not know how to find this rim. Any ideas would be great. Thanks for your help.

Re: A Rim Question.

Planks,

Look at your bolt pattern. 4 bolt or 5 bolt? Measure the space from center of bolt to center of bolt. Get the tire measurements ( 4.8 x 12 or 175/80R13 etc..) There are many different size tires. Then try Academy, Walmart, etc. These places usually carry wheels with a tire already mounted on them. Or www.cabelas.com pg 177 thru 181 of the new master catalog.
