A new boating hazard?

Well, I read in the paper this morning about an incident at Forest Lake, north of Saint Paul, MN. A couple was fishing from a canoe, not far from a local golf course.

Four young guys in golf carts drove up to tee off at a hole near the lake shore. Apparently, they were bored with their game, so they started driving balls towards the couple in the canoe. One of those balls hit the woman in the canoe in the head, causing her to have to get stitches at the emergency room.

So far, the morons have not been caught, but I'm sure they will be. What were they thinking? In any case, this is a boating hazard I've never heard of before. Stupid behavior among young guys, though, seems to be more common than it should be, I think.

Taxes to give a baseball team a new stadium and all the income from it, now idiots using people in canoes for target practice.

More good reasons to avoid the Twin Cities at all costs.:D

Yah...and pretty soon we'll be giving the Visqueens a new stadium, too.

Enjoy your two months of good weather up there in the Ice Capital of America. :D

Actually I've been out on the lakes for about a month. :D Early ice out this year.

I've been to one meeting where I told the clown from the legislature I would be more than happy to drive down on my own dime and slam the door on the Visqueens butts as they leave town. And he couldn't understand  why someone wouldn't be willing to give millionaires a palace to play in, let them charge $100s per ticket and let them keep the profits.

Remember - I defend the right for millionaires to beat each other up in their own backyards. Just don't expect the taxpayers to cover your bills.

My line is that the L.A. Vikings has a nice ring to it, and folks will still be able to watch them on the teevee. That doesn't go over so well with some people, though. Can't imagine why.

I've offered up the Minot Moppushers and Des Moines Dopes. I agree, Visqueen fans have no imagination.:)
