Re: A Great Story
Being a father of an autistic teen (17) it is needless to say this hits home. I see a lot of parallel here. From the hysterical happy laughter to the lack of fear. My son also loves water but he has a pfd ALL THE TIME! I even leave one dry so he can change to a dry one once he dries up. The only place he has been without pfd has been in beaches I know and never with water over his waist. He knows how to swim and he loves floating in his back while I rock him towards and away from me. I find odd that he kids was apparently so far from him. Even with the pfd my son dont leave my side. He is either attached to the boat or me by a rope.
Anyway, Im glad it had a happy ending.
