I went out Saturday, and what a day! Full of firsts. I saw a sierra chasing a hound fish across the top of the water... man were they moving! Then I cought a Dorado (dolphin) close to Isla Taboga, wich is unusually close to shore for these fish... and what a display it was, full arial and all. It measured about 36" long and weighed 12 lbs. then later a sierra got hooked, and when we got it to the boat another dorado was right beside it and circling, all lit up like neon lights. I tried to hook it, but that didn't work, finally it lost interest and left, and we boated the sierra. Total fish, 1 dorado and 2 sierra (both 5 lb. 9 oz). Saturday dinner? you guessed it, mahi mahi (dorado) with wild rice. Delicious!
