You gotta find this humorous whichever side of the union/mgmt fence you're on.

Just had a water-cooler chat with a manager on our labor negotiation team, she said the attorneys working for one of our large bargaining units are unionized (that's right, unionized lawyers). During the last contract talks, the union's unionized lawyers were engaged in renegotiating their own contract and threatening their employer (the union) with a walkout. Talk about irony!

Years ago the office support staff of one of the major unions or the AFL-CIO went on strike. Kind of ironic. Both sides using arguements that have long been recognized as standard positions of Union-Management disagreements.
