a couple of questions

I am the one that had the groung wire and speed problem, thanks to you guys it runs great, now how much lower unit lube does a 1967 65 hp mercury hold, and my fuel mix is 50:1 is this correct? because i dont see as much smoke as some of the other engines on the water, thanks again for all thep you have provided for me..

50:1 is correct. As for the lower unit, my 73 Merc 500 holds between half and three-quarters of a bottle (quart) whenever I drain and refill using the hand pump. Yours should be similar.
