A/C unit hose

Hello, currently have MPI 3/4 ID hardwall and reinforced hose running from seacocks to strainer, then from strainer to AC water pump. The hose is the black and Green striped one.

It's difficult hose to work with and replace, after I removed the section from the strainer to the pump to get at some other project.

Do I have any other hose options from the strainer to the pump?

not below the waterline. hint, put the hose in a 5 gallon bucket with hot water. it will make it pliable

Could use a utility knife to cut a slit in the hose to get it off.

If you spray Quicksilver Powertune on the barb it might help the new hose slide on.

Heat gun on the hose end, twist the hose once it softens to break the seal.Keep heating the hose and it should slide right off.Charlie
