I have a friend who is in the Heating and A/C business and he uses the "green" acid when he cleans a/c coils. Would this do just a well as the "pink". He said he usually sprays the green acid on the coils and leaves it for 8/10 minutes and then rinses with lots of water. What would be the problem if any, in using the "GREEN"?
I can get the stuff he uses at cost, but, I will hold off until I hear from someone who knows a lot more about cleaning logs than me.
Thanks.

You can use the GREEN but depending on how bad your tubes are don't expect real good results. (IMO) it's a waste of money & time by using it if they are in bad shape. I did HVAC work for over 35 yrs & if you really want something that will do the job then use pink coil cleaner. YES it has acids in it & you have to be more careful using it but for the money & the time spent cleaning your logs, IMO it can't be beat. Just my 2cents from many years of experience using it.
