My cousin and I were getting ready to go to a lake in texas. but it was doomed before we ever left by little sign telling us not to go but we ignored them. first sign was... boat batteries were down but luckily my boat has a pull start. secondly, the trailer wouldnt hook-up on the truck but after a couple minutes it did. third we get to the lake and forget the plug at the house so we had to go back to the bait shop and buy one.<br />fourth we get on the lake and getting ready to set a trout line and he droped the line all baited up and ready to go in the water so thats gone. fifth, were bass fishing when some kids in another boat roar by about 10 feet from us and kills all the action. lastly we on our way back to the trailer when a kid on a wave runner cuts in front of us and the waveruner stalls and i have to veer left sharply and hit a bouey with the left side of my boat knocking off the hose that feeds water in the aerators. by this time were taking on water big time and didnt realize until the back of the boat was going down and we hit the bilge pump but it burn up in about 10 minutes. so were tearing a$$ back to the shore before we sink and were about 4 miles from shore (or where we docked at) and we get just about there and it takes all the water it can and bogs the motor down and it dies. so the boats goes under but not all the way the motor never went under luckily and we float all the way to shore both of us almost drowning cause the water was so high and waves were really high. someone sees us and calls the coast guard and he shows up after we hit shore. he offers to pull us to our truck and of all days there has to be a $hit load of people at the boat ramp.but after changing the plugs and drainging the gas were ready to hit a different lake from that one. tex.
